About Concrete Contractors Suffolk

Concrete Contractors Suffolk works on the concrete outside the house: driveways and the entrances where they meet the road, back patios, stamped surfaces, front walks and public sidewalk panels, slabs under sheds, shops and equipment, and repairs to slabs that have split, dropped or started to flake. Most of that work is in Suffolk, Virginia, with the rest in the neighboring cities and Isle of Wight County communities listed on our area pages.

Two facts about Suffolk drive most of our decisions. It is the largest city in Virginia by land area, roughly 399 square miles, so one week can mean a cul-de-sac driveway in the north end and a tractor pad on a farm road near the swamp. And it is wet: the long-term average is close to 52 inches of precipitation a year. Ground that stays soft, and water that has nowhere to go, ruin more concrete here than cars do.

From first call to finished slab

On site. We measure, look at how the lot drains, note where a truck can reach, and work out why any existing concrete failed.

On paper. The estimate itemizes the job: area, thickness, stone base, steel, finish, joint layout, sealer, tear-out and price. If the work touches a city street, a roadside ditch or a public sidewalk, we flag which City of Suffolk rules apply. HOA rules are yours to check, and we design around them.

On pour day. We pick the date around the forecast, place and finish the concrete, cut joints, start the cure, and leave you written dates for walking on it and for parking on it.

You will not find star ratings or testimonials here. What this site does give you: how each kind of job is built, the ranges published national cost guides list for it, and the local rules we checked ourselves. Call (757) 720-2469 to set up a visit.
